I have a debt with them which has been handled by Equidebt and offered a F+F settlement offer only to be told
"Yeah we'll take the money but it wont be marked as satisfied till you pay the full amount, its just the way Santander is"
Err, wat's the point in me offering an F+F then?!

Tough then, stick the money somewhere safe and pay a pound a month then try again in a little while. Its there own choice as to whether they accept just on the whole they would rather a few hundred pound as a lump rather than £1 a month forever.0

Ha! No deal. Back to the smallest payment you can get away with and let them sweat.I refuse to be afraid of the big bad wolf, spiders, or debt collection agencies; one of them's not real and the other two are powerless without my fear.
(Ok, one of them is powerless, spiders can be nasty.)
As of the last count I have cleared [STRIKE]23.16%[/STRIKE] 22.49% of my debt.
