Ex-Wife and Endowment Policy

I have recently discovered that my ex-wifes name is still on an Insurance policy that has recently matured. We divorced over 20 years ago and I paid her a small sum to reflect her interest in the policy at that time.
For the last 20 years I have paid all Mortgage and Insurance payments myself by direct debit and dont know why her name was not removed. Naturally, I have no longer have contact with her and have no inclination of getting in touch with her again, having a new family and children etc.
The Redemption Form from the Insurance company is asking for both our signitures...any advice how can I resolve this situation?
Thanks!

Then you should have a legal document to this effect that can be produced as evidence.
The policy would still remain in the name of the original policyholders.0 -
Did you pay her a sum of money via a Solicitor? If so he will have the documentation on file or you will hopefull have a copy still. If not, try phoning the Insurance Company, explaining the facts and asking what to do next. Good Luck.0
