Barclaycard

Hello everyone,
Ive ran into a bit of a dead end with Barclaycard, and Ive heard this is a good place to come for advice.
Since the new year Ive been determined to get my debt under control. Im down to paying a loan of £1500, and 2 credit cards one at £200 and one at £500.
The credit card at £500 is with Barclaycard, and as Ive negotiated a payment plan with the other 2 debts, Barclaycard will not budge and demand full payment.
They seem to be ignoring all my correspondence with them, and have passed my debt on to debt collectors who also ignored my correspondence before passing the debt back to Barclaycard.
I have offered payment of £100 a month, which I feel is a very good offer considering the size of the debt, yet still its ignored.
I really dont want any of the debts to go to court as I feel its my responsibility to negotiate and pay them accordingly.
Any advice at all would be much appreciated.
Thank you.

Whats the minimum payment with Barclaycard, cant you just pay that for now, must be around the £15 mark ?0

It was around £67, on my last statement.
But i received a letter this morning demanding full payment by the 8th of this month or court action will be taken.
So Im not sure if the minimum payment option is still available to me.[STRIKE]BARCLAYCARD:£502.59 CABOT:£253.92 KC:£115.65 CITY COUNCIL:£212.62 WELCOME FINANCE:£1500 (EST)[/STRIKE]0 -
Hi
Having you been paying the £100/m you offered? when did you last pay anything towards the card?
When you offered £100 was that in writing? to barclaycard or debt collectors?A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
Hi Tixy,
I had no confirmation of the proposed payment plan so I didnt start paying the £100 a month, though with the dates I gave them I couldnt make the installment until mid month.
I make a point of contacting debt collectors and companies I owe money too via letter as I have no way of recording conversations over the phone, and yes I wrote to Barclaycard and the debt collectors.
I get paid weekly so I have half the installment for this month sat in my bank account, shall I pay them that now and try to negotiate with them?[STRIKE]BARCLAYCARD:£502.59 CABOT:£253.92 KC:£115.65 CITY COUNCIL:£212.62 WELCOME FINANCE:£1500 (EST)[/STRIKE]0
