Hi,
Been unemployed for a bit and hoping to sort my CV out to get a better chance at finding a job.
I need to find out all the places i have worked at and when over the years to update my CV. I tried calling the jobcentre but got told that they do not have such records.
Is there any wa of finding out?

Not being funny but have you not got even a vague memory of jobs and dates, even just putting down something like : company 1 - 2000-2001 company 2 - 2002-2003 etc would help.
Have you kept payslips, P45s, P60s etc?0 -
You can get an employment schedule from the Inland Revenue, but it will only have details of who you worked for in the tax year, not specific dates.0

Of course i have a vague memory, but thought it would be better to put down specific dates. As for records, im afraid i no longer have any as i lost them due to some family problems.0 -

If you ring hmrc and ask for an employment history they will provide the dates if they have them. They will send something out showing what records they have.

Sorry, I can't help you either. But just out of interest, I kept all my letters of appointments through my working life, and made a list of what I earned start and finish. After a few decades of working, I had a handy summary but also it was just simply fascinating to see how my working life had changed.0

Ok i just got off the phone with HMRC. Their system seems to be down but got told that they will be able to provide whatever details they have by writing to me once their system is up and running. I had to call the 0845 number as saynoto0870.com doesnt seem to be working
.
BTW if anyone has any job vacancies that need filling then feel free to PM me :j0
