Tesco Easter Craft Sets

I apologise if this has been posted elsewhere but I haven't noticed it. I went into my local tesco yesterday and found that all the easter craft sets seemed heavily reduced and also still on the 3 for 2 offer.
I got a glue set for 24p, and 5 other sets (such as myo easter basket, photo frame, felt bags) for 36/37p.
When I took them through the till I expected to have 24p and 36p deducted from but strangely had 36p and 60p deducted. This meant that I got all six items for £1.09.
A nice cheap alternative for those that want to avoid choc eggs for the children! xxx

I bought some things yesterday and got extra taken off too, they had sets of Easter pencils (4 in a set) for 17p and on 342 but on my receipt they have taken off 2 x 17p so really b1g2f, also bought 3 craft cases marked at 75p and 342, was in again today and these are now £4.00 each!!!!!!!!!!

they also had a plastic re-sealable tubs for 99p with loads of stuff in them ie pompoms and paper etc 3-4-2!

I bought one of these this morning and it went through at £6.00 even thought the SEL had 99p on it so got a refund and the item for free....didn't have time to argue the double the discount, Happy enough that I got a freebie anyway!, :beer:

Thankyou, just been to Tesco to stock up on craft bits after reading this, got lots of lovely bits for very little money. Some of the feathers/pompoms etc are suitable for other crafts not just easter so great bargain. I didnt see the craft tubs for 99p but they had a lovely little zip case with 5 different glues and 2 plastic scissors for about 30p.

Off to take a look tomorrow - are they anywhere specific ie in the 'seasonal' aisle or are they with the stationery?

They are with the Easter stuff. The items are priced 36/37p and are buy 2 get 1 free but 2 discounts are coming off. It takes off a third, then takes off a third of the discount. This makes the items about 17p each (so really slightly less than half price). They are really good value at this price.
