Tesco/Asda Pricechecker Thread - part 3

This is what I used to love doing in my past Tesco life. Popping along at 8am in the morning before the staff had a change to change all the prices, then getting DTD on the overcharge. To be honest I don't think the house (or the wife) can take much more.
;):rotfl:
When do they honour the DTD in-store? Could I, technically, go to a till with a razor (for example) at 12.01am on price-change day, then demand DTD?10 Ways to Spend All Your Student Loan In A Week0 -

So, just to clarify... if I've submitted 5 receipts on one email address but already mistakenly spent the last voucher on more DTD stuff before I realised I had maxed out... if I submit that receipt with a new email address, do we think they are able to see where the voucher I used against that receipt came from? Therefore linking the 2 email addresses?

I bought the FINISH ALLIN 1 DISHWASHER TABS LEMON 56'S this eve and found a £2 coupon under the flap. It states that it is redeemable against Finish Quantum 20/30/40 tablet packs only. Has anyone tried redeeming one without actually buying Finish Quantum 20/30/40 tablet packs?I love this site and all chums, but its making a dent in my bank account!!!
Have lots of things I want, but dont necessarily need... Must DO BETTER!!! :A0 -
Just been to a couple of Mr 's tonight. I only have two near me so I went to one of them and ventured a bit further afield to another one. I so wish I hadn't. Nothing wrong with the transaction, SA very nice indeed, didn't take or even look at my receipt, took my £20 voucher and comented that the previous guy had one for £49.00.!!
My gripe is with the store. It has to be the worst designed and laid out store in history, took me 30 mins to do my £20 shop as I couldn't find a thing and we all know from experience that it takes about 5 mins flat to fill (or half fill) a Mr T basket with £20.0 of overpriced food.
PAnyone else had the pleasure of Mr T's store in Purley!!!
BTW... trying the fruit winders and will let you know how I got on with the DTD.0 -

Not really. You need to go to Customer Services and show them the Shelf Price is still say £10 and you have been charged £20. If you left going to CS until the following morning, the chances are the Shelf Price will have been changed.
Need to go in early. Get the item, Straight to the till. Then straight to Cust Services.Ask me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies0 -
