In my case I used a clubcard - (only claimed £30 DTD this month) -

and the button was hit at the start of the transaction before a voucher was even thought off so it is not that. I was genuinely curious as the what they alerted if anything ?

I assumed it was hit when an operator changes over - any till operatives from Sainsbury - Asda - or Tesco :D care to enlighten it's primary purpose otherwise I'll have to email CS :o

    :)
any till operators care to answer thanks :)

I've been reading back but still wondering about that pork joint (not the finest one). Has anyone taken a summary of what info we have collated about the pork? I can't find much :(

023658 is the start of the barcode for the beef, should say top rump or silverside

And the lamb is the New Zealand leg priced between £17 and £22 £8.98kg

Both are fresh joints in the chilled meat section.

    ALERT

whilst in my store today i picked up a leg of lamb.. put it in my trolley and noticed it had a big red sticker saying 4.49 kg..

so I looked at the others and there were 3 like this, all others were the 8.98kg ones..I asked a lady who was checking dates nearby.. will these all scan at 4.49? and she looked at the lower priced one and said oh this one is a different date.. i think maybe it should not be put out yet?
so maybe the lamb legs are going to go down to 'half price' :rotfl:no idea when, although she did say a date but i dont remember what it was :o
so, if you want a leg maybe soon, and check for that sticker!
btw i got a 8.98 one and it scanned at that price,
I did put it in the trolley after sa had gone back to scanning food..:rotfl::rotfl:
