hmm... if outskirts of London are classed as south then I have no idea what you're talking about... I have been doing it for nearly 4 weeks now, use 1 store almost every day, other one couple of times a week and I NEVER had a problem, only one store checks the numbers at the bottom and are totally cool about it that they don't exactly match... my regular store just keeps asking what they need to do with the old receipt/put it in the till without asking/doesn't bother about it at all... al SA's are great, today one said "i love those things!" when I was handing over my second voucher :) I do between 1 and 3(only with my bf) shops a day one after another and never bother to go out and come back in again as I think that will draw more attention... I have seen a supervisor looking at my voucher once or twice, they are usually great and only worried how to put the voucher through the right way... never been asked why I have it and how I did it... all my vouchers are recycled and I use one a week for my normal shop... vouchers and email addresses crossed over as I can't be bothered to record all the details(no time), just make sure I don't input more then 5 receipts on each address in one month... had all my vouchers so far(two a bit late)... my clubcard hasn't seen outside my bedroom for a month, all the stuff I got are enough for me, can't be bothered to risk anything for some points...
Anyway I feel sorry for all of you who have trouble instore, I'm so happy I have none... Hopefully the trouts will be trained properly soon enough...
PS. Got the pork leg to try today so can hopefully confirm tomorrow, as well as the extra virgin olive oil... Looked for the beef but just saw the small joints and the bigger ones were 25%off so left it all there...

I'm greater london too and have had exactly the same experiences. I could have been writing this right down to crossing over vouchers an emails and clubcard gone on holiday for a while:)
    Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:

    Hi Bettyboo

Yes, I was disappointed too, as we all know Welsh lamb and beef are fabulous!

Perhaps a few more of us will contact Tesco Customer Services on 0800 505 555 to enquire after Welsh produce!!!!!

    Fingers crossed.

I have never seen the trolleys so empty, or moved out of the bays so fast. In fact the trolley man nearly got his nose knocked off tonight, his face was so far into my trolley looking for a receipt when I passed him by.
I was sorry for him so decided to leave him a reciept.,,,,,,,,,,,,,a used one.......: )
Love your Mum, you'll never get another one when she's gone.

    AUNT BESSIE'S 12 YORKSHIRE 220G reduced from £1.47 to £1 as per tesco.com
So am I right that someone has to read through all these threads in order to update the ss? If so I commend you not as if I don't already.

got back from weekend holiday at 12 ish, sat for an hour looking through a few pages checking no major changes in t+c, straight down to tesco for my dtd fix!!:D

now i've stopped shaking i'm just going through the ss again, has
    Tesco fresh whole chicken large 2.00-3.50kg (Lincolnshire)£6.37 £4.77 £3.20 £3.17
got lincolnshire in brackets because it was bought there or thats where it was made/born / grown ?:o

    tia
It was me that added the Lincolnshire part to the SS, sorry i should have made it more clear. The person to have got it confirmed said the chicken said Lincolnshire on the packaging.

I'm not sure if we've had much confirmation about the chickens.

  • How do they *know* its a DTD voucher? I used Betty crocker voucher, Tesco magazine voucher and DTD voucher and on the receipt they all show as "coupon". Does anyone on here use Tesco gift vouchers? Would be interesting to see if they show on a receipt as "coupon".

I will be starting a new 'DTD wave' on Friday when I get paid (I do need to get proper shopping in, toddlers can't exist on pies and pizza, and I can't cook a joint every night it's too much off the electric meter). I would be more than happy to put a tenner on a gift card and see what comes up on the receipt and report back. :o
