I love beef but am avoiding it. I had a look yesterday and there are so many different joints with similar names.

Is there a min/max weight we should be aiming for. Plan to see if I can get a lamb leg too but as it's such a big voucher spend I want to be sure to get the right one if I can.
If not I've saved on the H&B stockpile so will take the hit should it fail however it's nice to plan & avoid that scenario if possible.

I think once you get it right you know what you're doing but the first buy is a worry.

Dove shower creams are showing as half price - "was £1, now 50p" on Tesco's website, and yet they're still listed as £2! Anyone make sense of this?

a question about washing up liquid

with the surf concentrated bottle on offer do u still need any other product? like softner? i usually but 2-1 powder

Still catching up so apologies if this has been answered... you will need a softener, may be worth seeing if the comfort is in the SS. If no softeners are on there, asda's own 'sensetive' was 80p last time I checked and I can't tell the difference between that and comfort pure. Hth.

    POSSIBLE SS AMENDMENT

I spotted Absolut Vodka 1L was priced up as £20 a bottle in store this morning, its still showing as 24.29 on the Tesco site though.

Got some Duracell batterys (size D) this morning for 6.70 (3.35 each) - these are 2 for £4 in ASDA... Will confirm tomorrow with any luck.

Planning on one of these later so I'll report back on what SEL says

THE NEWZEALAND whole leg of lamb works - i think it has to be over 1.7kg and under 3kg - i bought a £16 leg and got about £14.50 back! tastes great as well :)

I'm trying the lamb leg today too but it will break my heart if i've ended up paying £20  I need to recycle a few more times yet.

Bit unsure on the beef as someone else said there's so many with similar names it's a risk..

Might try for the pork leg too.
