Following the incident I had where the supervisor was rude and scribbled all over my NEW receipt after I'd used a voucher on a transaction, in order to 'stop me getting another voucher' as she said, here's the reply I've just had from customer services:
    Dear C**************

Thank you for your email. Firstly, I’d like to apologise for the delay in getting back to you. Please let me assure you that we always try to respond to our customers' queries in a timely manner and I’m sorry that due to high volumes of contact, this has not happened on this occasion.

I'm very sorry about the problems you experienced at our store.

This was not typical of our usual standards and I'm pleased that you brought it to our attention. We would much rather know if something's wrong, so we can put it right as soon as possible.

Please let me assure you that we give all of our staff full customer service training before they begin to serve our customers. Our training focuses on how important it is to be polite and friendly to our customers at all times. So, it is very concerning to hear of the problems you experienced.

I've passed your comments to our Store Manager and he'll address the matter with the Management team to make sure the woman concerned is spoken to regarding this.

The only restriction currently on our price check is that a voucher can only be issued for up to £20, and there is a monthly limit, which is reviewed from time to time. Currently it is £100 per household.

In regards to your request for a new receipt, only the store can do this for you, and only within 7 days of the initial purchase.

I'd also like to apologise for having lost your loyalty on this occasion, and would like to ensure that this does not happen again.

Thank you for taking the time to contact us and I do hope that you'll continue to shop with us giving us the chance to provide the excellent service you've come to expect and so rightly deserve to receive.

If you have any further queries please do not hesitate to contact me at customer.service@tesco.co.uk quoting TES9478134X.

    Kind Regards

    Ann Bunston

Not all that helpful, seeing as the store is a long way from where I live so I can't pop in to get receipt reprinted.
Ah well, I hope at least the trout gets a good smackdown. :T

I took my elderly and kindly neighbour to the shops (well Mr T only really;))yesterday and she put the following in her trolley :Easter eggs + mug (£6 for 3) for the grandchildren), Tetley tea, Flora, Fairy x2 :pand some other bits.

:AI treated her with my DTD voucher and we had a lovely chat and coffee afterwards at her home. She's on her own and on a limited pension -

:)Why don't you all treat a neighbour too with one of your vouchers - it made her day and mine :lovethoug
Thats so sweet of you, what a kind hearted person you are:A

just seen couple workers in my local tesco taking boxes of fairly liquid to the checkout for themselves :o

had one of yesterdays vouchers back so went to spend that, sa first said cant take it as its printed from the internet, i said its YOUR offer so they called supervisor who sorted it no problem..

not sure how come the other voucher not through from yesterday, unless they check the clubcard accounts with teh emails used and see there both at same address but different people..

o.h. took wrong voucher earlier on our normal grocery shopping and used one that had allready been used, my fault for not ripping them up i guess. :o
