am i the only that doesnt think the deal on the kids 10 quid toothbrush is great thinking about it logically u pay 10 quid for a crap toothbrush that asda is selling for 2 quid u got 16 quid back meaning u have outlayed the ten in the first place for a 2 quid toothbrush so you are only making 4 quid profit surely u would be better making that 4 quid elsewhere and purchasing other items, ie things u will need or eat... u can get a lot more for your money

i think i have explained it right lol

I agree with you. There are different ways of looking at it, but £16 of 'DTD credit' is a lot to spend on a toothbrush, when you can only get £20 in 1 shop anyway.

I would rather gets lots of smaller useful items.
Plus if Asda suddenly up the price of the toothbrush and the refund didn't come throught it's a lot of money to lose - it's quite a high risk one!

I know Im a right muppet arent I - I was in a rush to get out and Id done my shop so I knew Id get max £20 DTD anyway - and Ive heard people say they couldn't get DTD on the other items they had because they sign the receipt they ripped you off with - so took balanced approach and just legged it to car!

    PRICE CHANGE

FINISH DISHWASHER TABS WERE HALF PRICE IN MY STORE TODAY AT AROUND £6.49 AND NOT £12 ODD SO BE CAREFUL!

Not see any dtd shoppers though the till woman said lots have been in today! I thought as much cos someone keeps getting to the lamb before me and only left 3 bottles of coke!:)

I was charged £12.98 about 2 hours ago....

Mind you, this store had never seen DTD coupons... so they'll probably change the price in about 5 weeks time!!!!!!! :rotfl::rotfl:

lol i give in i was talking maximising the use of the dtd voucher and buying the toothbrush from asda

i take my brain is working way differently to others today :)

I think you're just looking at it a totally different way. One of my vouchers has dropped down in value to £11.95 due to picking up the wrong things yesterday. I'd prefer to get it back up to £20.

So, today, that voucher (which is costing me diddly squat) will be used to buy a toothbrush, and a pack of flash wipes (£2). So, in real money I'll spend pretty much nowt, the voucher I get back will be for £18 - and the toothbrush has cost me nothing and gained me £6

and then I will take that £18 voucher and buy more stuff with it!
