Sorry - that's a load of rubbish. Why would they drive at 30 all dat long? That would be 210 miles (assuming a 7 hour day) of consecutive 30mph roads. :rotfl:

The 30s are the limit I pay most attention to, and if I got 'beeped all day' I wouldn't give a monkeys. Idiots that think they know better, etc. etc.

And if I was driving at 30 all day as you suggest is possible then I would stop driving through Midsomer all day long (more for fear of being murdered than anything else).

I am not sure if your post is tongue in cheek or not, I guess some of it is.

My point is, the 30 mile an hour speed limit is the law regardless of day, night, sun or snow.... If you drive at 30 miles an hour at night i the snow and ice then you are not breaking the law where as doing 31 on a fine day is technically breaking the law.

My reactions at 40 years old driving at 35 miles an hour are going to be a lot better than a lot of old fools at 75 driving around at 30 miles an hour with the tunnel vision they seem to have.

I don't condone wreckless or stupid driving but the original poster got slated for doing something that most people do every day and something that is entirely safe if done responsibilly.

Chill out and go see Mr T for some DTD's
