Have I been a pillock... ? Having not ready the thread I went out and bought 4 x £20 shops at once with 4 receipts and just put all 4 through at the same time on the same email address :(?

No you should be fine! Just remember that if you get 4 x £20 back in vouchers then thats £80 out of your monthly allowance for that email address, hmmm I mean household!

Had a bad experience today. The boy called the supervisor who wouldn't take the voucher because it had the 12hr clock on it so 3:15 instead of 15:15. She said that I couldn't possibly have got a voucher for £20. I said Asda were cheaper and that's why I got it. Then she noticed that I'd paid the last lot with a voucher and she said she wasn't having it. The boy was very frosty too. Phoned CS when I got hope and they were lovely - said I had to go to Customer Services in store and stand there until they phoned CS. Trouble is I want to go shopping tomorrow night and CS will be closed.
My thanks too for everyone's help on here.

very nice CS lady who i asked if my voucher was ok cos of diff numbers told me that it was fine as they have been told to accept them from head office

yes was my first nerve racking moment lol.... put my dtd shop through no probs, hubby behind paying for a few other bits including 1p item....young girl scans it, says o its coming up as 1p I will just have to check that.. i say but if it scans as that then its that price surely? she insists on calling supervisor, so i leave hubby and go back to put stuff in the car (whistling tunelessly as i try and slope out lol, ):rotfl:as i dont want to draw attention to myself :o.. he comes out carrying a 1p bag :T so thank you:beer:

    ONCE AGAIN THANKYOU THANKYOU THANKYOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!

ONCE MY HUSBAND GETS PAID EVERY MONTH AND ALL THE BILLS AND MORTGAGE GOES OUT WE HAVE £150 A MONTH FOR FOOD FOR A BABY, 2 YEAR OLD US TWO ADULTS AND 3 CATS. I SCRIMP AND SAVE AND BY THE LAST TWO WEEKS WE ARE LIVING OFF THE VERY BASICS

    Sorry caps stuck!

We used to buy ALL the basic stuff and I would go and do a big shop at Asda once in a while to stock up, since reading up on this properl and with the right guidance for the last few shops I have got nothing but stuff on the DTD list and each time I have received my voucher in less than 24 hours!

I am over the moon! ust having Phileas Foog crisps instead of basics or no crips at all is such a wonderful treat (and note it is a treat we are strict no rubbish foods in the house and stocked with fresh fruit and veg)

We are having a bbq this weekend so tomorrow I am off to get the 2 lots of Stella and some red wine and meat

One thing I havent tried yet is can I go and fill up my trolley with what I know will be £20 DTD stuff and use my £19DTD voucher?? If so this makes life even more amazing!!

Thanksyou so much to the moderators who are doing an amazing job updating the boards

This coems from an ex lawyer who used to waste £500 a month on food until I had our family and stopped working!!

    hi folks, just saying hello:)

just sat down for first time today, getting things sorted for going away tomorrow, not read the thread since early hours so no idea what the heck is going on in the land of DTD

I went to dental hospital in sheffield today got a good ticking off re my teeth, didn't have the guts to tell the dentist its all the magnums and lucozade i've been having lately!!

Thought i'd pop into the local tesco (of course) while i was there -only wanted to check the betty crocker situation really as no vouchers yet but an £8 giftcard-2 full rows of them!!!!!!!!!!!
i stupidly bought only 7 and thought i'd come back for the rest later-(was going to go to the local public library and print off my vouchers-had it all planned). Got back to the car DD crying saying she's dropped my iphone down the seat-we could not get it for love or money-drat:mad::mad: now can't check thread. After spending an hr finding somewhere to park then an hr waiting for my dental appointement I couldn't help take my kids where on the way home? You guessed it "Tesco" , I couldn't be bothered with a trip to the library esp as i didn't know for sure if vouchers were back. Anyway back to same branch NOW NO SIGN OF ANY BETTY's:eek::eek::eek: Double drat:mad::mad:

So had to find a local VW garage without a sat nav-great, when we finally got to a garage the chap must have thought i was a total nutcase, asking him to get my phone out from under the seat, he spent 10mins then finally grabbed a ruler and hey presto, an iphone with a near dead battery!!! just enough to ask you guys if any voucher news, no vouchers! triple drat:mad::mad::mad:

so we spent a coupls of hours in a local park before i couldn't resist checking out one last tesco before we came home (well we were out of town it was a special occasion) had a real struggle finding it, then when finally got there only one betty on the shelf, took it to SS and out came a piddly little reciept with no bloomin numbers at the bottom!!! quadruple drat:mad::mad::mad::mad: fuming now and took it back to CS got my money and stormed out!!

Got home and just enough time to check one or two pages of the thread at home before taking kids to activities, SAW THE FAIRY GLITCH, YIPEE:T:T:T (except i never get any of the glitches!)

So we drop off at activities and take the 3 yr old to guess where again yep "TESCO" he says "mummy where are we going?" I say "nowhere darling" when i pull up he SCREAMS "MUMMY TESCOS??? NOT TESCOS, ITS TESCO TESCO TESCO!!! NO NO NO!!!" what can i dsay to that except i'll just be a minute darling! We go in i try a couple of fairy's glitch works a treat i nearly drop dead with excitement, rush off o geta trolley and grab the lot off the shelf, then promptly take him to our other local where i do the same + DTD shop. He was rewarded with 3 packs of magnums.

I treated him to 3 magnums, risked 2 of the 8.99 surf 50ish washes so hope that goes through and following all your inspiring recipes 2 tins of salmon!!!

have given some fairy to my sis and brother, many thanks for posting link tara i wouldn't have looked at grabbit board was in a rush to get in and out.

And now to catch up with the thread.........
GRATITUDE WHEN GIVEN, PATIENCE WHEN DENIED

The way i see it is that people post about reusing it (ie the person didnt sign it or take it. and the post is deleted.

However people that post that they do more then 1 a day and that does not get deleted..

Its the TERMS and does not mean it is ILLEGAL to reuse a voucher or go in more then once a day, or do more then £100 a month.

Terms and Conditions is not the LAW!

No but reusing the voucher could be classed as fraud or deception, making it illegal? I have had unsigned receipts, but wouldn't risk it. There is a chance they could match up the numbers on the vouchers and look at the CCTV (which they have done for less serious breaches of the T&C's) The deal's good enough without reusing vouchers IMHO
    Next year we'll be millionaires!
