thanks lovetowinacar and scotsgirl for replying so quickly.. i guess i'll chalk it down to experience unless my dtd voucher isnt much! one other thing, what happens if you happen to get more than £20 worth dtd in a single shop? do they just cap it back down to £20 or do they dismiss the whole thing and you get nothing? im slightly concerned my maths might have been a bit out 'slightly' in all the excitement of finding an end aisle of pancake mix after giving up begrudgingly in the actual home cooking section..
Don't forget to bring the Betty Crocker 30p tear off vouchers for tomorrow

On my shopping trip today I 'bought' 4 of the 1.25 litres of coke (£1.50 each in Mr T., 2 for £1.50 in Mr A.) and the lady at the till tried to be nice by saying you do know that these aren't buy 2 get 2 free don't you, that's the other ones.
Should have said 'No, these are buy 0 get 4 free' but I didn't, I told her that these are for the kids to take in their school bags and they can't fit the bigger ones in. She seemed to buy it................................
My shopping came to exactly £20.00, gave her a voucher for £20.00, should return £20.00 tomorrow. Wohoo.0 -
Ok another naive question
What's the difference between pink and red salmon?
And pls don't say the colour!
:A:A:A:A
Pink salmon is one species and is also known as the humpback salmon. Red salmon, on the other hand, is a common nickname for sockeye salmon. Both are Pacific salmon and are generally caught in the wild and not farmed as most of the Atlantic salmon on the market today. There is some difference in the varieties of salmon with the main difference being the amount of fat.
For instance, canned pink salmon has 152 calories in a 4 ounce serving and 5 grams of fat. Red (sockeye) has about 8 grams of fat and comes in at 186 calories for the same serving.
There's no doubt that eating salmon is good for you with its high levels of Omega 3 fatty acids. Study after study has shown the benefit of such fatty fish in preventing heart disease and probably other illness. Either of these canned salmon should be fine and one is not necessarily better than the other.
Who says DTD isn't educational;) it is certainly opening my eyes to Mr T and his rip off prices.:eek: If Mr T was as cheap as he claimed he would not be giving away free food:money:0 -

Yes this is fine tho it may depend on CS in your store.
The initial answer was I need to check however with foresight I had printed out the detail of the shop that showed the DTD had not been applied to the returned item. No problem - refund sorted.:T:T
 No its Not fine!
Please dont do this as Its against the T&Cs and you could get the offer pulled!
Returns- Where an item on a receipt is returned, Tesco reserves the right to invalidate the whole receipt for the purposes of Price Check or where a Price Check voucher has already been obtained, invalidate the voucher.
- Where an item on a receipt is returned and a Price Check voucher has already been redeemed in relation to this receipt, any refund offered for the item may be offered net of the Price Check voucher's value.
- Where an item is purchased using a Price Check voucher and the item is subsequently returned, any refund will be offered by way of a Tesco money card only.
- Returns will not be accepted because a product is not matched on Price Check.
- The Returns Policy does not affect the customer's statutory rights.
If you see someone without a smile give them one of yours,
It wont cost you anything!

:AI was trying to be helpful and offering an experience "a friend of Martins had in store";)
1 reserves the right - but may not use it
2 may be offered net - but may be offered in full
3 ok give me a Tesco money card - fine by me
4 don't give this as the reason for return then :wall:
Did you have a bad SA experience todayor do you work for Mr T :whistle::whistle:
