my daughter was with me for the first time doing a dtd shop, she was gob smacked that i paid £2 for 4 boxes of roses and an easter egg, she walked out of the shop saying "how did you get all that for £2 mummy?" :o must work on teaching her to be discrete!
she is over the moon tonight though as i've told her she can give all 3 of her best friends easter eggs (tresure ones) this year!!:D

had a mixed experience again in southport today - the sa was about to close her checkout so the supervisor was stood at the end watching me:eek:

anyway when I gave the sa my voucher she waved it at the miserable supervisor and said, 'ooh these are good arent they?' supervisor looked at me like she had just wiped me off the bottom of her shoe and replied 'its that martin lewis isnt it', I just smiled sweetly and never said a word, SA then piped up ' I tried to do it, but got nothing back' supervisor then looked at me (like I had actually slept with her husband) and said ' they know what they are doing, they specifically search for things thats why they get them!' to which I continued smiling sweetly and said ' such a shame Tesco put there prices so high then, as I wouldnt be getting this voucher if they were as cheap as asda. would I ?' :pI then thought that the supervisor was actually forfeiting my DTD personally with the final look of disgust she gave me!! I just kept smiling, walked outside and saw a single little receipt in a trolley, looking at me, begging to be saved from the bin - I did the only thing possible and scooped it up gently into my purse...........................................
got home and found it was for £152 !!!!!!!!!!!!! :j:j ( oops you can just guess what I did next lol)

ooh do i know you by any chance???? a friend mentioned she'd picked up a receipt for that amount earlier!! :rotfl:

Very happy with 2 emails from Mr T received earlier, with vouchers for total of £27 after trip to Tesco yesterday evening. receipts submitted 10.30pm yesterday and reply came at 10.51 this morning. I put through 2 separate transactions at self serve till, simplest one is Princes Red Salmon 213g tins @ 3.98 - bought 4! Difference of £9.92, so obviously double that ...

a HUGE thankyou to everyone who has contributed to this thread! feelin well chuffed with my result.

can also confirm Becks Beer 6 pack @£6.79 which had a purple 'unconfirmed' box on the spreadsheet yesterday.
2012 wins: kids tattoos, Rombouts tea towel, ASDA garden Jenga, belt & necklace (Damart, twitter), celebration cake (school raffle), Don't Laugh board game (Girls&Co magazine), tickets to Creative Hobbycraft show (Scrap365), £5 M&S voucher, BigHedz toy, Special K red lipstick, £10 garden centre voucher, £50 high st vouchers (twitter) ...

Does anyone know any good offers for a small chest freezer?

OH had said I can buy one. We are running out of room now, I've defrosted my under-counter one and chucked out everything that's never going to be eaten. It's brimming with Lamb and magnums!

Was this from a shop yesterday?
If so I fail to see how T can quote £2 for the Dettol Surface Cleaner on this receipt and yet £4.04 on mine and those of several other people on here - naughty, naughty!!

Hi - a total new bie here so forgive me if I am doing this wrong and I promise to learn by my mistakes - bearing in mind I'm a bloke.

I've checked the spreadsheet list and I can't find this but it could be a goodie.

Old El Paso cheesy baked Enchilada Dinner Kit. 663g

T- £3.14 (although buy 1 as they are on 3 for 2 apparently)
    A - £1.00

    DTD - 2 x £2.14 = £4.28 which makes a return of ££1.14 ( I hope)

Hope that's right and of a bit of use. I am off to get some and will confirm it works asap.

    Thanks

    Col.
