Sorry if this has been asked before, but I've searched so many times and can't find any confirmation if it works or not.
Does anyone know if Nivea Rich Nourishing Body Moisturiser 400ml works for DTD? Can anyone confirm please? It's meant to be £5.21 at Tesco and only £1 at ASDA.0 -
Oh dear God... :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
I hadn't seen these when I wrote my earlier post thanking Martin for keeping schtum! I guess it's up to him what he puts in the weekly email, but...
I give DTD till Friday. Tops.
i don't think the offer will get pulled that early...
...i reckon there will be a BIG change in their T&Cs.
when i say 'big', i don't mean a load of changes. i reckon they'll add a single extra point:
a receipt cannot be entered on the price check website if a DTD voucher has been used on your transaction.
something along those lines, i.e. recycling vouchers (MSE definition) can no longer be done.
we'll just wait and see.....:grouphug:Official MSE canny forumite and HUKD VIP badge member

My Dear Martin,
I really must apologize for troubling you (and your erstwhile posters) so late at night, but I have received so much advise about my personal life that I thought that I would contact you about another matter.
I find that the calibre of the late- night posters to your thread is so much more sensible than those who contribute during the day. Who wants to save 22p DTD when current affairs regarding the economy can be discussed amongst erudite people on the late forum?
I have been tonight to my local watering-hole. "The Happy Shopper" by name. It was virtually empty - only Tim Wetherspoon, the proprietor, and my old chum, Jack Cohen a friend of many years standing, were in the establishment. They were both glum.
I must digress here, on a matter of some general knowledge. Tim has a habit of naming his pubs after the previous user, hence the "Penny Black" is an old post office etc. "The Happy Shopper" is named after a defunct chain of grocery stores, Walter Wilsons by name. Oh, the irony!
"What is up?", I inquired of Tim.
He replied, "Can you not see....the place is empty! Even the blokes who used to smuggle in the home-brew have deserted me. They are all at home drinking other stuff (e.g GUINESS OrRIGINAL 4X440ml Cans £5.29 £3.00 £4.58 £0.71). And I have a full firkin of "Netty-Sneck real-ale going out of date in the cellar below as I have no customers to buy it".
I left both Tim and Jack to discuss their problems together.
The local park which I pass on the way home is usually quite a dangerous place at night. The denizen's drink of choice is something called "White Lightning", but if this is not available meths or formaldehyde is usually acceptable.
Tonight was different. The Queen's English voices that I heard from inside the park were as follows:
"I say my good chap, this really is a rattling good chardonnay"
"Would you care for a Bailey's my dear chum?"
"This Martini extra dry is an amusing little number"
"When you have moment, would you mind passing the salmon sandwiches ( PRINCES RED SALMON 213G £3.98 £1.50 £4.96 -£0.98 but get in quick!)
I made my way home.
My problem is - is the economy on the up or down as i have heard two different views tonight. What can be causing it?
Yours, as ever
terryw
