Whooah tiger, this doesn't work at all like that.

2 x £13.98 = £27.96 spent, even if you have a £20 voucher thats £7.96 cash AND your DTD is max £10 per bottle, so net cost per bottle is at best £3.98.

Looking on-line, it appears they've already doubled the prices, and that the figures given in that post are for two bottles?

The 13.98 quoted is the price for 2 bottles, Adsa charge £8 for 2 bottles so DTD 11.96. 13.98 less 11.96 is 2.02, £1.01 a bottle just as the poster said. They have also said this is confirmed which indicates they've done it.

    think its meant 2x 6.99 =13.98
    asda 2 for 8.00
    dtd x2 5.98 = 11.96
think my maths sort of right

That makes it rather different, sorry for jumping to conclusions. Assuming that the large vouchers were for products your event wanted then you are right to feel hard done by (although shouldn't be surprised!).

If you're in the mood I expect you could get some local media assistance?

Thanks. I don't feel too hard done by, since I have done very well. The only thing that annoys me is the lack of consistency in Tesco staff. A manager in a different store even said "they can use as many vouchers a day as they like" (needless to say this is my preferred store, though distance means I can't go there every day)

Plus I find it frustrating that people won't go on record with what they say. A store manager is surely trained and empowered to act according to guidelines, and to a degree, judgement. If someone is causing problems, but refuses to put it in writing (or be recorded) it shows either that they are lying, or simply dont know what they are talking about.
