Quite simply, no!
If you were to inform Royal Mail, they would probably have their 'licence/contract' to sell stamps taken away from them.It will always be impossible to please everybody all of the time but so long as someone is happy with me somewhere at some point, my job here is done!0 -
Yes they can - local shops can buy them wholesale and resell them.
As for being the 'old' stamps, they now carry the new value. I haven't seen if there is a latest release but in the last price increase the stamps did not change.
And finally, not really a grabbit?0 -
When i complained to RM about a similar thing they told me they weren't allowed to,as far as i can recall a shop can sell them cheaper but not more expensive than the "set" price.
RM told me they would look into it.0 -

HMRC rules on the sale of postage stamps is that if you sell them at face or below face value then no VAT is due. If you sell them at above face value then VAT is due on the excess amount. This would indicate that in the opinion of HM Treasury it is legal.
Shops and retailers used to have to enter into agreements with the post office including term that the stamps would not be sold at a profit. HOWEVER shops can now buy stamps wholesale, even directly from the post office, without entering into such and agreement.0 -
