We bought a divx player recently. We found a loophole to get a Philips divx player from Argos for £34.99
Argos are currently selling the Phillips DVP3020 dvd player (no divx) for £34.99 http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5335103.htm
If you look at the bottom of the write up on it, there is a disclaimer… “This product may be substituted with a DVP3040 which is of a similar specification but cosmetically different.”
The DVP3040 is a DIVX player. We popped into our local branch, figuring that if we didn’t get the substitute we would just return it using the 16 day refund policy. But we were in luck. It’s great, and it plays anything we throw at it.
I hope this helps.0 -
