£10K Loan over 2 Years

Good Afternoon,

I'm looking for some advice. I have recently moved areas and am looking to get my finances in order. I am looking for a £10k loan over 2 years and am willing to pay 20% to the lender. I have a bad credit history hence not being able to use the banks and want to avoid people like logbook loans etc.

Can anyone give me some advice on where would be a good place to look as all I can find online or scams.

Thanks

Mark

Sadly mate, I don't think that 20% is anywhere near the rate you'd be offered if anyone would accept you for a £10k loand with bad credit history, shame on your part, but thats reality

and see if people can identify where you can cut back in the short term to minimise your debts and to long term build up your credit rating.

I was 11. Oh sorry, you were talking to @Forum User:p

There's no way you can borrow £10k over just two years, unless you take out four FLM Loans or something:D It's better to get a loan from a high street bank - avoid the 'brokers' at the other end of the food chain. You'll have nothing but trouble.

How is your credit rating? If it's not so good, you could always see if you can ask some rich mates to borrow £5k - ask two, if not ask five for £2k each...:money::money::money::money::money:

  • Mark,

There is a way around this, you can borrow money as long as you have a guarantor just like a tenant would require when renting a property.

Basically Surreyboy, the chaps on here actually wanting to help you are right, you're not going to get anywhere near 20% if you go down the loan route. My credit is currently quite strong, yet I still get 'Good' offers from my own bank with loan rates ranging from 14-20%, and that's with an ok rating. It’s just the way the world is today. With your poor credit rating you can expect anywhere between 40-400%.

If you're saying your credit is bad the best thing you can do is re-evaluate your sending, try and get everything cleared that you owe, and start again. All these Payday options seem like a good idea, but remember there's a reason so many have popped up so quickly, they're a great business because they charge so much. Stay clear; work out your spending plan and don’t get into any more debt.
