Hi Everyone,

I posted briefly before to say hello and have been trying to find my way round a bit. Posted my first comp today but found out I can't post links yet so have messed it up a bit!! Sorry! But its been a lovely sunny weekend with the family so can't complain. Still waiting for that elusive first win. Wine is open so it should be a good evening too :cool:

Hi everyone,

Lovely day here but a little chilly compared with lately! Kids back to school for a few days so nice and peaceful. Just scanning my old laptop as hopefully just managed to stop a virus or something going on it after clicking on a cartoon! I hate it when things pop up at you!
Great pics as usual Korky. Going to hang out my washing and go for a walk now.

Hi everyone! So sorry i havent been here for a wee while. Hope you are all well and had a fab easter. K you will be home before you know it, hope you r feeling so much better Just finished yon decorating, room looks lovely but i is knackered :eek: Son and I have been cleaning front of house, gutters etc. We r both really scared of wee spiders or even large spiders so between us we did pretty well! lol :rotfl:

Sadly we had some very sad news over easter, a dear friend, who we as a family have known for 30+ years took his own life. We dont know why, he was so lovely, loved his grandchildren, had no money worries or anything that we knew of, will miss him so much.:( However, having worked in that sort of environment and also experienced it in my family many years ago, maybe I do understand the desperation etc. So sad -such a waste of life. Wish I could have reached him before he took, what he thought, was the only way out

On a lighter note, hope you peeps have had a wonderful easter and stuffed yourselves silly with easter eggs!!! XXX

Hi Alfie!

Have had a lovely Easter thanks - hope you did too. It is horrible to think people feel so bad they take their own life. Have never known anyone who did so have no idea what would make them do it. Hope everything else is fine with you. I've just had a WEM for a mascara - won one last week and DD claimed it so I'm having this one!

Not sure if this is allowed to be posted here but I will anyway

I've entered my dog into a pet competition with the main prize being £500 to donate to a pet charity. The reason I entered is because a few days ago my dog sadly passed away, but the care and treatment he received from the PDSA was fantastic and I would love to be able to give something back. Hi Sheils! Know what you mean, had a few mascara wins and my daughter always nabs them!!! Its not fair cos she has beautiful dark lashes yet blonde hair!!! Meanwhile i need all the help i can get!!!! My son is passing on mascara wins lol :rotfl:

Hi emma, you have my vote big time. So sorry to hear about your dog. We lost our wee dog couple of months back through cancer. So gutted, he was only 4, miss him so much I always support PDSA - wonderful organisation - im voting xxxxxx
