OMG advents! Sure sign of xmas on the way!
I really dont want to start the thread neither fnc63 as I wont be able to keep up with the thread. I only entered a handful last year, although I did apparently win one with onthebeach and never got the prize! I did email them but they replied saying 'we can confirm your cancellation!' Tried getting in touch again but didnt get no joy so I gave up!

It's been thundering and lightening here, quite close too! Stopped now though thankfully.

Hi Lady Morticia and welcome to comping - your first venture into advent comping is always an experience to remember, here is a link to last years thread which will give you an idea of the amount of comps that will be showing up during the run up to xmas and the amount of time even just as a player how much time they can take away from your life :rotfl:, even if you should only decide to do half of them !

Really feel like I should do a bah humbug :rotfl: I'm a believer in Christmas in December, but for competitions I'll make an exception!:D

Had a look at the link (thank you fnc63) but still as confused, hopefully all will be revealed as we go forward.

Sorry I can't volunteer to help daily, but if I see a competition I'll pass it on, as usual, so impressed I've managed to list three so far. It's so hard finding one that isn't already up and running! Big thanks again to those who list :T:T:T You are really brill helping me out with things that I PM you with.

Right enough rambling Jaycee go get some comping done :j

Weather cant make it's mind up here, keeps raining on & off. Off out with kids for a while then getting ready to hit the town tonight! Or maybe the town might hit me after a few drinks when I'm on my back! I cant drink anymore, not used to it!

I love Xmas and hopefully this year all my family are coming home. My son in Bermuda has decided he will come home after all and the other one who is a chef isn't working this year for the 1st time ever.
I didn't manage to do that many of the Xmas comps last year but it was worth it for the lovely hamper I won.

Beautiful day here so DH has had me out in the garden cutting down shrubs - I'm exhausted! Postman was good though he brought DD a set of Vampire Books from Shout mag and 5 Crunchy Nut mugs:eek:
DH,DD and I won one each but somehow DH &DD got 2 each.
