I got a sand & water tray from Sainsbury's last week, it's an inflatable one so when not used doesn't take up as much space.

Hello everyone. Today I am mostly hoping to win tickets to see Dolly Parton in Birmingham on Sept 2nd. My wedding anniversary and Dh would be really chuffed with this treat. We were going through a rough patch last year and didn't even get a card so it would be nice to do a bit better this year. If anyone wins them and doesn't want them please consider me
Right apart from that cheeky bit I am ok. Been comping lots and going to take the children to the park for a picnic whilst it's sunny. Hope everyone has a lucky day xx0 -
Ooh they're great bargains pms :T My DD would love them. It's her bday in sept so might go and get her one
Sphynx, good luck with the dolly parton comp and hope things get better for you & OH. We were in same boat previously and went months without a word to each other due to redundancy/finance etcTill we knocked our heads together and realised we had the kids, our lives and each other. The rest was materialistic
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -
Morning all,
Hope you are all well. I am having a strange morning here, as I keep getting strange phonce calls to my landline. Can I vent please
:
Last week I got a call from a guy asking me to do a survey, at the time I was busy and said he would ring back another day. A few days later he calls and starts asking me about "current fashions".
He didn't say where he was calling from, didn't ask for me by name and started asking what type of "blouses and dresses" I wear. He didn't sound very proffesional and TBH and I was a little suspicious. He didn't ask about current trends, rather how short I wore my skirts etc. he then moved on to "do you wear stockings" "what type of bra do you wear" I asked him what company he was calling from, at which point he got flustered and said "pretty fashions"(?) or something similar. I told him in no uncertain terms that ringing a woman asking such questions was not acceptable as I was feeling uncomfortable answering, I ended the call telling him not to call again.
He called back this morning . He was very aggressive and started shouting at me that "EVERYONE SAYS THEY ARE GOING OUT WHEN HE RINGS, NO-ONE WOULD ANSWER HIS QUESTIONS AND I HAD TOLD HIM HE COULD RING BACK"! I explained that the first time he rang I said that, but I had made it quite clear the second time not to ring again!
His number was withheld, so I can't even block the number.
