Well done Jane! Most of my prizes seem to go to DD , DH or just for everyone to share but when I won £500 I bought myself a new laptop! Told them all I needed it to win them more prizes.

Really sorry for posting this here but I know quite a few people pop on here regularly and need a bit of help I have received this email this morning "supposedly" from hotmail. The email is as follows:

We are having congestions due to the anonymous registration of Hotmail accounts so we are shutting down some Hotmail accounts and your account was among those to be deleted. Your Name, User name, Password, Date of birth and your Country information would be needed to verify your account. Confirm your E-mail by filling out your Login Information below after clicking the reply button or you can write it outside the given space,failure to do this will lead to the closure of the account within 48hrs.

I am inclined to think that this is a fake/scam, just to get my email details. Anything that asks for your password instantly puts me on my guard. Has anyone else had one of these? I wanted to forward it to hotmail but can't find any contact details for them.

Can anyone advise as to what to do? TIA

Looks like spam to me, I'd just delete it tbh x

Thanks all, I wouldn't mine the thirst comp as well I'm entering that 1 every hour I can. Would be handy but hey who wouldn't that be handy for lol

Thanks PMS, I panicked when I first read it....... had visions of all my WEM's (:rotfl::rotfl:) being lost in cyberspace when they shut the account down. Having re-read it, I've deleted it now

Winjackie, I had the same email and me thinks it is a load of cack! And over the past few weeks I have also had emails offering me peni$ enlargement, requests to deposit cheques for £8million (for a fee, of course) and every eejit bank declaring suspension of my accounts if I don't click the links and update my details................off to the bin, the lot of them!

Feeling very shaky while at the same time could scream with joy - postie delivered a letter this morning containing a cheque for £1560 from the Fairy/Morrisons cleaning comp posted by smokker99.

I have posted in IWIWIW but wanted to share my joy with my friends in the Inn.

As there were 10 winners I am hoping there are more winners from mse.

Strange that you mention all the other junk emails....... mine also seem to have increased tenfold over the last week or so.
