Thanks Velvet Glove for the tip.it works! I am alright,I have had a good day today.Been out to see my church friends this morning,my Now 78 pack from come round came today.Had a quick meal then my careteam arrived.I am now listening to Now 78 and its good.

Oops - DH just reminded me it was our wedding anniversary next week I'd forgotton all about it!

Raining on and off today. Just a couple of weeks to go before kids break up for 6 wks hols!
Got a free paper today through post.......the jewish chronicle! Not sure why they sent me that.
I immediately looked to see if there were comps in but no, none.

Sheils, I was reading about that in paper today :eek: my MIL (aka inspector gadget) is a saint compared to her! :rotfl:

Wow! Just been reading about her, what a snob that MIL is :eek:. Its all very well thinking something, but to write EVERYTHING the poor girl did wrong in an email is (to use her own words!) just plain bad manners and very uncouth .

I got the Jewish Chronicle the other day too Wingo. I think I entered a comp in it posted by Laks a little while ago. Just a week until my kids off - yessssss. They have nearly 7 weeks off, I have seen them with nearly 9 when the Region messes things up. They get 2 weeks in October now too which is handy.

Also, bit late now but if I could give you 2 little bits of advice? Feel free to ignore but I'll feel bad if I don't mention it

1. My Offers is in the Comping Guide as one of the sites known to generate spam - lots of it! The general comper consensus is that it isn't a good idea & over the years I've been comping with lots of people (including me when I first started comping!) trying out My Offers comps, I've only ever seen 1 person post that a family member won something from them. They have awesome looking comps on there I agree, but for the emails, post, calls & texts the site generate versus the number of winners we've heard about, it is one that I & a lot of other compers do avoid like the plague.
2. Not sure how long you've been comping but it is quite easy to disqualify yourself by entering a comp more than once if you don't have a system. By following the comp link from the 'All in London' comp posted on here to other comps you possibly now don't have a record of what you've entered?
   By just entering comps from links on here, if you've thanked or clicked the 'entered' button you know that you've entered.
   If you see another comp link from one you've just entered then perhaps see if it is already on here (so you can click to let yourself know you've entered it) & if after you search you can't find it on here then it may be one to share with everyone else Have to admit though, it's quite hard (but not impossible) to find a comp that isn't already on here

Please take the above in the way it's intended to try to help out another comper sharing mistakes I've made in the past Also, feel free to do whatever you want to do, it's your comping!

Hi, thanks for that, I have no idea what ive entered, I think I got to the 'my offers' thing by going onto a comp on here for a green cased kindle, but then it took me somewhere else, and I thought I had to fill out that to get to the next comp. I have no idea what Im doing, however, the good news is that apart from this juicy win thing, I have not given my mob number. I have given my landline, but dont worry.... we have it on silent and it doesnt take unavailable or witheld numbers and I have caller display so just dont pick up. Hope that means I dont miss a winning call (some chance!)

I will probably need help again in the future, so bear with me!

oh, ive probably done that, there was lots of energy related questions on something, i just tell them we're in massive debt or something

Still playing Now 78 I started with Disc 2 then Disc 1 :rotfl: daft I know but on Disc 2 track 1 was Jessie J Price Tag

A company kept phoning me each day,finally they spoke to me today and offered me free instulation for loft,told them I cant do that and they said sorry and hung up.Now they shouldnt pester me again.
