DH has a busy morning planned for us - visiting the dump sorry I mean recycling centre, shopping and the walk around the Loch we didn't get last week. Must try and get some more comps done first!

Morning all,

We've had a busy morning here, been to the shops, post office, library and the park. Got some veggies and bread but forgot to get anything for tea :doh:, so need to raid the feeezer now.

Tomorrow there is a big parade and fun day at our local park for Armed Forces day, I really hope it stays dry as looks like they have lots of events planned.

Hope you are ok and have had a good week. I have had a really lucky one so DH is cooking steaks(reduced cos they were going out of date!) and has poured me a drink! Wow sheils, that looks amazing! I'm sure you'll have a great time relaxing in one of the pools! I was hoping to take kids away again for a few days but hubby cant get no hols off in 6 wks hols or in october.

It is rotten when someone can't get the school hols off. DH worked with about 9 other people and only 2 of them had kids and he often struggled to get the time off. We are only going self catering but have booked a 2 bedroom apartment as we like plenty of space. The reviews look good.:) and it was recommended by a travel agent I know a few years ago but we couldn't get in.

Hi all, it's been a really long day today. Cooper (my Boxer) had his second leg operation this morning. The vet rang this afternoon and said it went well, we should be able to collect him on Sunday morning. On a brighter note my new sofas were delivered this afternoon. They were BOGOF so we got the 2 for less than £400, not worth paying a lot when you have a spoilt dog in the family, having said that they're great, much more comfy than our old ones.

I followed a parcel delivery van into the tip yesterday wingo, maybe he was loaded up with your wins!
