    Hi all,

Hope everyone has an exciting weekend planned (I don't!). It has been raining here for about 36 hours non stop I think and forecast to keep going :(
It is a shame as it is Jazz Festival Weekend here and an Umbrella Parade and things are on - still umbrellas will be handy.

Off to do some more comping before I take kids down the town to get the last of their Father's day stuff.

    Good Luck all.

    Thanks everyone :)

I had a fab night, so glad I didn't have a garden party like I was going to as it rained rained rained, my hair was in a right state :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: unfortunately a lot of people didn't turn up so I had far too much food & lots of leftovers  but those who did turn up spoilt me rotten. Mr M & his friend baked my cake for me (which was a big bottle of blue wkd, I'll post a pic later) and my gift from Mr M is that he's taking me to the retail park this afternoon & he's going to sit in the car and leave me to shop for as long as I want with all the vouchers etc everyone got me :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Was hoping I'd have a lie in today, but I'm just not very good at that so I was up by 8  Mr M & his 2 friends are all still sleeping so I'm going to get some comps done before I go on my hols next week :money:

By the way, does anyone know if those PAYG Mobile broadband dongles are any good? Was going to get one out of my birthday money but not sure how they work or if they're worth the money? Thanks xx

I'm loving Mr M's present hehe

Glad party went well, shame people didn't turn up, we having a bbq for LO's 1st b'day in Aug and I'm wondering if Summer will ever be here.

They work in 2 ways like a phone either PAYG or on a contract, they can be handy if you don't have net access but i find many places have wi fi spots now so can log on for free.

We off to the shops later OH works till 12 on Sats, getting the LO's feet measured now his cruising at speed, thought get him some proper shoes. Also my upgrade due early next week so going to have a play with some phones see which I want....can't wait as hate current phone, was a replacement when my phone I loved started having software problems so can't wait to get rid of it

Glad you had a good time Melvis and hope you have fun spending your vouchers! Where about in Wales are you going?
I have a dongle that I use when I'm away but it does work out expensive! I have to feed it like a PAYG phone. It is a lot cheaper than paying some hotel charges though. It works really well in some areas but not in some remote areas. I don't have a fancy phone to use.

Were going to Haven in Prestatyn, they have wi-fi at the bar but my laptop has to be plugged in to use it or it dies straight away and the dogs aren't allowed in the bar and I don't like leaving them in the caravan on there own except maybe if we have a night in the bar so thought a mobile dongle would be good so I could use it in the caravan :) xx

Hope you have a lovely time. My SIL lives near there. Are you going to have a day in Chester? You can walk round the walls etc.
I find the dongle handy but as I say it can be quite expensive to use too often. I tried not to use it much on last Octobers 2 week holiday and still used £30. (I won 30,000 Priority Club points and a camcorder tho that I wouldn't have won otherwise!) Used about £16 in 10 days in April and won £500 I wouldn't have otherwise so decided maybe its a lucky dongle!:D
