CCJ's and bankruptcy

Hello
Please can some one give me some info/advice on CCJ's and bankruptcy? I was half way through repaying a CCJ when I declared myself bankrupt. I was told (via a professional advice line) that this would be 'wiped off' when i went bankrupt. How do I do this? Or, Will i now be classed as being bankrupt and also having a CCJ?
Thanks,

The CCJ doesn't get wiped or cease to exist, but the bankruptcy order means that it is no longer enforceable against you.
The CCJ will stay on your credit reference files for 6 years from it's judgement date.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
