Is there an alternative to Metpost?

I need four 24" x 70mm to erect a heavy wooden garden arch, which has previously been erected and the ends of the posts are rotten, so cannot set them in concrete as it would make the arch too low.

Metposts are so expensive and I wonder if there is a cheaper brand?
