I've just moved into a new house and my daughters second hand metal high sleeper is really, really noisy and keeps her awake. I need to gt it replaced quickly for both our sakes!!! Ideally, i'd like to get her a nice wooden one, but it needs to be well deisgned so that a wardrobe, drawers, desk and bookshelf can all fit! Theres no room for any other furniture in her room. Something like the one pictured below would be great, but needs to be as cheap as possible. Thanks

November wins...a book, a designer handbag (worth £550 :T) and a game. I am now an addict and thank everyone for taking the time to share and post.

Hi
Try Gumtree, preloved ,ebay or freecycle
Hope you get one very soon.0 -
Have you considered putting a few screws into the metal frame and attaching it to the wall? That's if the noise is related to the bed moving?
Otherwise, you could try an ad on your local freecycle.
Some of the ones like your picture come with built in stuff underneath. Ikea is quite reasonable if you want a new one and you can pick and choose if there are extras to fit under the frame.
Downside to Ikea is that their mattresses always seem to be slightly different measurements to regular ones, so you are stuck buying theirs with the bed...
