Loan consolidation help

I've just obtained settlement figures for both my loans which came in at £10910 for the both compared to the £14000 i would pay if i carried on as i am. I worked out that with a northern rock loan for £10910 i would pay back around £11900 ( a saving of £2000). However, i'm in the forces and have just moved house, again so northern rock won't touch me for the loan. coupled with the fact i have four credit cards (from tarting and 2 are empty).
When i got my settlement figure from hamilton they said that due to my excellent account history they would offer me another loan but without thinking i said no. As they have quite a good APR i think i could still save a lot of money by consolidating with them but will they have to do a credit check as i am an existing customer. They are closed now so i will have to ring back tomorrow but i was wondering if anyone knows if they will credit check me or not. many thanks in advance
