I take an 8, tried an 8 and it fitted fine, they're not as broad as fitflops though IMHO.

I've ordered some but does anyone know if you can return to store if they don't fit or if you have to mail them back

    From site:

Unfortunately unwanted online orders cannot be returned back to our stores for a refund but can be returned to our stores for an exchange or a gift card providing that they are unused and you have your original invoice the packaging and any tags still attached.

Sports Direct doesn't allow returns to store for a refund unless damaged. Have to take alternative product.

Sports Direct won't even do an exchange unless you have a receipt, even if all labels etc are intact which shows very clearly the item was bought from them. Very, very poor customer service.

and you never get your money back/refund onto a debit card etc you only ever get a gift card (even if you have your receipt - which is not good):(
