I p'd off with Lovefilm

Got a free trial from my bro for 64 days - awesome. But their service was soooo slow I didn't really make it worth continuing so I did what they said to close it and ended after the trial.

Thought it was a bit odd that I was getting emails from them and tried to contact them to query it - two emails with no reply for two weeks. No number to call on the only source of contact - their website. Finally did some diggin to get a no and called them.

They said I needed to fill a form in addition to everything else despite not telling me this at the beginning or on the emails i sent to say I would be leaving them.

AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

Can't be arsed to fight it as I never win.

It's a shame that you've had such a bad experience. I'm currently on the 90 day free trial. i get 2 dvd's at anyone time, and since we watch on the same day we get an average of 4-5 dvd's a week. which is quite good.

tried the trial on our home address, and it was rejected as we'd done sainsburys dvd trial before - so they were quite helpful on the phone to cancel the account, and make sure i didnt get paid for it. so we switched the address to our business premises.

best of luck with another company (if you're thinking about it)- although be careful that they aren't affiliated, otherwise your address probably wont be allowed to trial again.
