Hot cross bun loaf

Hi
Getting near Easter and the shops are full of buns, but would love to make some HM ones , but thought a loaf might be good.
So, has anyone got a good recipe for a hot cross bun loaf, preferably for a breadmaker.
Have a Kenwood BM450, so guidance on what prog to use etc would be great. Not too clever on adapting things - LOL
Tried to do a search but failed miserably, so apologies if missed the obvious
many thanks

I'm not entirly sure that you can make them on any setting other than 'dough' (setting 9 on mine) as you will need to divide , roll and then pipe the 'cross' on them. Will see if I can find a recipe for you for the dough though.

BTW many years ago I went to the British Museum and saw an Egyptian engraving of Isis (?) or similar with small bread cakes on the engraving. The bread cakes had a cross on them and they were made especially for a spring festival.
Amasing eh? Nothing new under the sun.0 -
Thanks Sunshine Bear, much appreciated.
The Egyptian engraving sounds interesting, wonder if they hit on a good recipe - LOL
