Best Single Buy per Store

We've had many posters asking how to save money and threads which give tips to save money on shopping but I thought it might be good to put down which single item per store that is your best buy. That way we can identify those bargains out there! I'll start:

Asda - Asda brand Creme Caramels 44p for 4 (and low fat too!)

LIDL - recycled toilet paper 12 rolls for just over a pound

Tesco - conditioner for about 30p for 500ml

    Hi pickle,

As this is more of a shopping than Old Style thread, I'll move it over to the shop but don't drop board, where you should get more replies.

Martin's article What's hot and what's not a Lidl, Aldi and Netto, is a good place to see what the popular products are from those stores.

  • The list will go huge..how do ppl go about searching the products
  • I am a fan of Lidl and would like to stress that the bog roll is made from recycled paper (not recycled toilet paper), just in case anybody gets the wrong impression.

Not sure how you'd do a search I'm not too techy:confused: Thought that if people only put one item per store then we could narrow the list down and get the really best buys rather than just a general list of low priced items. I know that I have certain stock items which reduce my grocery bill by a lot and I am curious what other people think is their best buy so I can look at reducing my bill further. For example, the creme caramels are something I wouldn't have considered buying until I just happened to pick them up one day and now I buy them all the time.
