Is there such a site where you can see how much a 'sale agreed' or 'sold' price was on a property in NI??
I know the www.dfpni.gov.uk site tells you how much they sold for, or how much the property is worth today.
Anything to tell how much has been accepted?
Thanks

Unfortunately not. There is no NI equivalent for English sites which I know do this. Possibly you can ring the land registry and pay them the search fee, but having dealt with countless documents from LR I know not all of them have recorded closure fees on them. Not sure why this is.
Having been at the buying game for over a year and a half before I got my house, the best way is to honestly ring up the E/A once 'Sale Agreed' and behave shocked that it went, then make out you were about to go higher than advertised, and work backwards from there to get the actual sale price out of them. Makes them feel clever and gives you what you wanted.
Also just keep looking out for others in the same area and doing the same thing. You don't either want to miss a bargain or be 'surcharged' when the one up the street is going for significantly less.0 -
Thanks - as I thought. I exhausted google trying to find out.
Some good advice and tactics there too... Thanks.0 -

Most estate agents sites allow you to list their properties, even sale agreed and sold ones on some sites, so they should be able to tell you the last asking price for the house, which again is not necessarily the price it sold for
I hope this helps a bit.I am trying, honest;) very trying according to my dear OH:rotfl:0
