Sign up for HSBC online banking and you can get the information from there.

Then it's just a question of setting up standing orders and making whatever OP's you like.

  • Thanks but don't I have to change my current account over then? As they have been so terribly unhelpful with the mortgage hate to think of what they'd be like with everything else.

Hi there, you don't need to have an Hsbc current account to use the internet banking site. You do need your Internet Banking number though, which I got over the phone as far as I remember. Our sort code and account number were on the Offer Document Letter that we got when we first took out our mortgage, the one where you have to sign one of the agreements and send back and keep one for yourself. You probably have it filed away somewhere. HTH
