Time rich cash poor - but happy that way

Well - once more I think I should put my musings down on paper (well, laptop, but you know what I mean)
My situation is not desperate as I can pay bills each month but I want to be far more comfortable with the current climate and my future plans (but more of that later).
So my new motto is - I'm time rich cash poor but feeling good about it. I also adhere to the old adage of - Use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without.
DH & have set a challenge to pay of the Lloyds visa in 6 months by playing double or quits as per MemoryGirl's idea so again, I'll post details of that full challenge later because it's a beatiful day here & I'm away to do a bit of gardening......
Feel free to pop in & have a chat to keep me motivated & on track

Well - rain scuppered the garden so now I'm in & ironing - hate it but it makes my week much easier to cope with
And watching "Jesus Christ Superstar" & scaring the dogs & neighbours by warbling along to it. I love Ted Neeley......
I need to "invent" a wee thing that I can put over the top of a coathanger to say if a hem, button or something needs to be sewn on - that way I can have an easy sewing night & not have to resort to Wundaweb at 6am in the morning..... Any ideas folks?Debts 07/12/2021

Just popped in to say Hi,
Cant wait to hear about the double or quits idea to pay off a debt. This is something I could possibly do.
As for the sewing could you not pierce a slip of paper over the hook part of the hanger so you can identify the item easily?
Good luck with your journey

Will work out all the dtls later of the double or quits to get rid of TSB card & will post them up - I really need to kick myself up the butt to get this done

OMG Clootie - the "Tightwad Gazette" that you left for me to read is brilliant .............. makes me look like a complete spendthrift after blowing £30 on doors today though. Got a feeling i should be able to make them from old sandwich bags and loo roll inserts instead :rotfl:
Hope you enjoy your new toy
