what's gone wrong?!?! help plzzz

hi

after a bit of advice please. i got accepted for the barclaycard 0% bt for 20 months. never done this bt stuff before so it's all new to me. anyway, i got a limit of £4100. when i applied, i told them i was taking advantage of the 0% bt and gave them tesco cc details. when i registered online last night, i had full credit limit available. i went to do the bt but it would only let me transfer £1100/£2750 & my limit is now £87 . what have i done?!?! i've phoned barclaycard and they said £2811 is pending on my account but can't tell me no more until tuesday. happy mother's day to me... stress, stress & more stress.

There could be a restriction on the value of balance transfer you could do from any one card or it could possible have just been submitted twice in error tomorrow.

Best to wait and find out.
  • Have they started the BT already? £2811 = £2750 + 2.2% fee. Would that make sense?

  • i had the full limit of £4100 before i did the bt. it would only let me bt £1100 leaving me with a limit of £87. so confused. obviously something isn't right but what?

Did you tell them the details for the BT when you applied for the card?
If so it's likely that the BT is already proceeding

yeah. do you think it's gone through twice? only part of the cc limit is available for bt use so will have gone over this limit. will i be charged if this is the case?

Ring them up & ask. It's the only way you will find out.
