Obtaining a Mortgage & Moving Jobs

Hello Fora!!!

Its very late and I may fall alseep but here goes!

We are looking at relocating to the coast to get back to the sea!! THe original plan was to just move locations in my current job as the company has offices where we want to move to, however due to changes in work of a cutback nature, this option is rapidly becoming undesirable..

My options are now...

Change jobs & Move, its likely the change jobs will happen before we move..

Stick it in current job, and then move - and then change job.. lol

My question is, how hard is it to obtain a mortgage if you have just switched (or are switching) jobs? Can anyone advice on the best option of above?
