  • OP - you have over £20K debt on credit cards. Is this a cummulation of a few years overspending or do you have actual "stuff" to show for this? (Home improvements, car or suchlike)

Don't mean to be blunt, however overspending to such an extent needs to be addressed before you can properly move on I think.

And I am not preaching - been there - done that! :D

  • Sounds like you've seen the light now, and hopefully OH won't be far behind.

It's tough at first, but you've begun to make changes already so well done on that.

Head-in-the-sand-Syndrome - think all of us on here have suffered from that at one time or another!

But - onwards and upwards for you now.

    Good luck!

    Hi OP

Don't beat yourself up! You are doing well to have come so far in such a short space of time. £200 in 10 days is amazing, and if you keep it up then you will be sorted in no time.

Do you have any space in your 0% cards to transfer over the balance on the 16.9%? You seem to have your head screwed on and are on the right track so don't knock yourself. I do think it is important to budget for a treat, even if its £5 or something so that you don't burn out.

Goodluck and well done so far.
