i noticed yesterday on boots website one of those kindle like book readers at half price about £50 cant find it anywhere today. has anyone seen it?

It's got a back-lit screen, not e-ink, so it's really not a substitute for a Kindle or any other e-ink reader. You may get on fine with it, especially if you use it indoors and only for short periods.0

If you can afford the £50 for one of those, I honestly think you should save the extra and buy a Kindle - especially if you're going to want to use it for longer periods of time. The e-ink format makes it so easy on the eyes and there is no glare from the sun if you choose to read in the garden.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0
