Same Job Different Pay Agency

let me start by saying im new to this site and i apologise if this is posted somewhere else, i didnt know where to look so hopefully you'll excuse me.

i work for a company through a agency which has around 100 staff on the site.

now everybody gets the same contract and mostly the same pay everybody is contracted to £6.66ph

same applies if doing overtime no extras or anything like that.

untill recently a couple of colleges let slip that there are on £8ph

my first question is this how can they be payed more than other people where there contracted the same as me for same wage (in the contract that is) but get paid more

and secondly there are other colleges who get paid time n half for working overtime, again where in the contracts its the same as mine.

now as its a agency im a bit unsure where to go with this ? has anyone got advice on what i can do as although its not against the law as far as im aware. why ppl with the same contracts are gettin extras...

help please
