    Deceptive and/or unfair methods

2.7 Dealings with debtors are not to be deceitful and/or unfair.

2.8 Examples of unfair practices are as follows:

    .............

    j. requiring an individual to supply information to prove they are not the debtor in question, for example, driving licences, passports, full name, date of birth, signatures

The OFT can't intervene directly in this case, but every complaint helps.

I have to admit I am looking forward to this game, knowing I have the upperhand makes me smile, although I wish I didn't have to have the bother of it all.

Wasn't Yes Car Credit closed down?

    Just as well, too!

As this alleged (and disputed) debt is over six years old, it is unenforcible and Marlin may huff and puff as much as they please, for it will still remain statute barred.

I am wondering how long it will take them to contact me regarding this matter and how soon they will take to start mentioning CCJ's and such. I will keep this thread updated as things progress.
