I have just returned from my local and bought :-

2 x school dresses @ £3.50 x 2
1 x school t-shirts @ £3.00 x 1

no reduction for 3rd item (free), I am going back in shortly to get my DTD.

They are full price, I have just checked online and the discount comes off at checkout

Update............

Just gone back into store and they advised that schoolwear isn't included. It mentions nothing on the signage about schoolwear being excluded, nothing on the internet. I have just checked yesterdays paper with the promotion in it and it excludes nightwear, hoseiry, socks & shoes, elsewhere on the advert it does say selected lines only.
My local store reluctantly gave me my refund but no DTD, she said it was not an overcharge.
Have just rang CS and as the advert states that it is selected lines only that covers them.

3 for 2 definately works on schoolwear on-line.
