Who are these people. Answered the phone last night and these people asked for my wife. Turns out she has slipped on CC payments and has given SOA to them. They say she is in deficit with income/outgoings yet she has arranged to pay £80 pm to them. Is this all above board?

Can she afford to pay them £80 a month?
Was the SoA she gave just her income & expenditure or a household one?

If she cannot afford to pay £80 a month and her SoA is realistic in terms of her share of household costs etc then she should write to them to offer them an amount she can afford. Even if its only £1.
If she has other debts as well as this cc then she may well want to seek advice from one of the debt charities about dealing with her debts in the best way and ensuring she treats her creditors equally.

If you are financially associated with her (joint mortgage, loans etc) then anything negative on her credit file will affect yours.

If triton are hassling her by phone then there is a letter she can send to stop phone calls.
