There were offers for free navigator remotes (well just a £1.50 premium rate charge for one and the other totally free apart from a short local rate phone call via your digibox) but they ended in the summer

Try phoning Sky tell them that your system is no good without one and that if they dont give you a replacement you are going to cancle your contract

good post, threatening to cancel should work, why not hold out for 3 months half price and the saving should more than cover the cost of a new remote.

You can pick up the old sky keyboards for about £1 plus delivery on Ebay - they are a bit big and bulky but perform all the features the remotes do!

our remote broke a few months ago, phoned sky and they sent a new one at no cost out without a problem.

we bought one recently in maplins for about a tenner-its their own make i think and not sdky but looks very similar and does all its suppose to and weve got sky+
