I'd pay off the 3 smaller ones, as it'd give you a emotional boost and you'll free up the money to snowball.Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Hi One Spike
I would pay off the £300 & £500 debts then save £200 so you know you have a little bit of money put £100 away as car contingency as it is old (you may have to do the odd bits and pieces to it!) and then Throw £400 at the big interest rate debt!
if it was me I would feel happy to:
1 have cleared two smaller debts freeing up minimum payments which
could go towards paying the biggie debt every month
2 have some some savings
3 a little just in case cash for the new ancient car
4 and reduced the big debt a bit
talk about cake and eat it! Nissan or Toyota's are generally good runners I have a Nissan Micra and she runs lovely.... very low cost car!
Congrats!:j Where there is a will there is a way - there is a way and I will find it :j0 -

Best use of £1500 - give it to me!!

Seriously though I'd pay off the smaller debts so that you can be free of those and focus on the others!
I still think you should give it to me though so that your dilemma is solved!!

How much do you think you could save by changing utility suppliers?
Personally I'd want to get rid of the smaller ones and then the accounts can be closed and you're not tempted to use them again.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0 -
Hi onespike :hello:
How much are your utility bills? If it's not the full amount, I would pay those off and switch (ongoing savings - don't forget to go through quidco for switching
), and pay some of the smaller bills too......as people say, it really does give you a boost, and gives you more for snowballing the big boys!
Great news on the car btw.....what nice news!

Do I need it? Can I afford it? Can I find it cheaper anywhere else?
