Excellant post just sent for some for my daughter.
Thanks foxy0 -
Thanks For This Post. Have Just E-mailed For Samples. We Were Rather Worried Our 18 Year Old Daughter's Drink Had Been Spiked With Something On Saturday Night At A Local Club, As She Was Very Sick Yesterday Although She Says She Didn't Drink That Much (she's Still In Bed Today Actually, Although Appears To Be Recovering Thankfully!).0

Actually its not just the girls that get spiked, i know a friend of mine (bloke) got spiked by a woman ....
Personally what would be more useful is to have a Tester kit (i think the police have some but they're like £1 a test or something) I also heard that there used to be some drug test beer mats though I've not heard any more than that.
The trouble with these is that they're not removable (Probabily a good idea by design) so you'd need 5-6 for a night outalso only works on bottles, also it only helps once you put it on so someone going to the bar (or the barman indeed) still could do something with it.
Money, Money, Money ..... Banks/Casinos/Bookies give me all you money its a poor mans world....0 -
Be careful, if you ring and say you saw this recommended on a website they will not send you one, they say you can buy them in packs of 10 from Tesco from May onwards.Official DFW Nerd - 3990

Thanks for this...I know we hear about women being spiked with all sorts of drugs particularly rohypnol so i'll be calling for some free samples. I live in cardiff which has the unfortunate moniker of the date rape capital of britain. 2 female friends of mine got spiked 2 weeks ago, the hospital didnt take it seriously at all, wouldnt take urine samples and treated them as drunken women (they werent drinking alcohol that night) neither did the police even tho the women were threatened by a man they rejected (and knew by sight and name) that they would be 'sorry by the end of the night' and were willing and able to give a name and full description to the police, however by the time they got over their concussion injuries (they both fell in their drugged state and are still feeling the effects) the police said it was too late to prove anything and the hopsital had no evidence since they refused to collct any. thankfully the women werent attacked other than being spiked.
it's not just women of course, of a group of a dozen men in their 30s i know in bristol 11 had been spiked, the majority almost certainly sexually attacked.
so men are spiking both other men and women - with the attitude from the police it seems we need to take charge of protecting ourselves and these devices coukd be a great partof doing that. i know some bars give them to women free which is fantastic - maybe they should be given to everyone
I called the number and said a friend gave me the number but they were more concerned in where the recent incident happened and i got through to a super nice woman who's sending a bagful out today - she said they wont be available in tesco till may. they gave the impression that this is more than profit-making from a horrible phenomena & they seemed genuinely interested in addressing this problem and collecting stats on how often and where it's happening. A company with good ethics maybe? hurrah. thanks for starting this post. if these things work i'll recommend the product tol my friends, male and female. however much they may cost in tesco has to be worth avoiding that ordeal.

Boo Hoo!
I just tried to order my sample by telephone and was told (by quite a snotty woman) that there is no such offer and they hadn't been asked permission to publicise this!
She did tell me though that the product would be available from May in Tescos. I asked if I could buy a sample from them now and she positivley barked "NO" at me.
They are obviously being in-undated with calls, but there is no need to be rude to potential customers.0 -
Hi everyone,
It looks like they are cutting back on freebies. I just asked for one for my niece and just got an email "Available from Tescos from May in packets of 10 at the end of the drinks row".
We will be buying some but I thought I would warn others this offer looks to have been oversubscribed.
Thanks for bringing these to our notice. Should have been quicker off the mark!!Bye for now,
Paul
