No reply from Northern Rock

After looking on their website I wanted to speak to someone from Northern Rock today to discuss a mortgage, tried to phone the 0800 number but it was unatainable, so I used their call back system and clicked the within one hour, it's now been six hours and still no reply.

What do you expect from civil servants?!!
Sadly this is typical of most lenders attitude to customer service at the moment, imagine how it would be if you had a problem? You may be better off calling a branch. Northern rock are one of the few lenders who hav4e direct phone numbers for there branches. You will probibly find a mortgage advisor will be able to speak to you straight away if you call your local branch.LBM 11/10
